I cheated and took a nap so I can make midnight. Not that it makes much difference. We aren’t going anywhere. Went fishing today! Nothing biting, but a day on the lake is still worth the trip.

We used to have a group of couples that always got together for New Years Eve. Eat, drink too much, play a few games. I haven’t seen any of them in quite a few years since we moved north. Now I’m content to watch the ball drop on tv.

Mine was from Baker's and then I got one I haven't heard of today. I made the mailing list!! I have quite a few seeds left over from last year's total bust of a garden that I'll probably just try them this year. Lord willing, and at the rate of mountain snowfall we are having, there won't be a drought this summer!

I didn't make it to midnight - had to gracefully excuse myself from my guests and go to bed because of some sinus issues. E stayed up with everyone (just a small group this year) and I did hear them count down - and the neighborhood noise - at midnight.
