Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Anybody see any issues with this?

I bought a 2-pack of these to try out. They aren’t meant to be used with plastic waters, so I put them inside a little metal Christmas cookie tin, and sat the waterers on top of it.
**Thermo-cube required** These suckers get hot! But otherwise, they seem to be working fine. A little cheaper than new heated waterers too.

Never seen these before but I know my goose and muscovy would just knock it all over.

I have used the de-icers from farm innovators.

These:

These do not run hot, and are safe to run dry, and safe to sit on rubber/plastic.

They have an integrated thermal cube

I used to use one of these in a 5 gallon bucket with poultry nipples on the bottom. It worked until it got close to zero out. I got sick of double checking the nipples to make sure they were working in the winter so I retired it. I only use the bucket for summer watering now. I got a couple of these last winter...I love them.

How do you get the inside cleaned? I couldn’t even get it with a bottle brush.

Good morning! Boy's last day here - think I'll forgo the run and take him to breakfast.

Oh, and the NorCal weather is back to the rainy, windy system w snow down to about 2000 ft. so travel in 3 directions will be limited today. We are just under 1000 ft. here at the house. Redding, proper, is closer to 500 ft.
