Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Well. I'm trying to think of anything I missed doing for the boy while he visited. We went to his favorite fast food (In-N-Out) and coffee (Dutch Bros). He got together with quite a few friends, we went skiing, played games, and ate so much food. He's kind of a quiet dude so he wouldn't ask, but it's going to be a long time before he's back here again and I don't want to forget anything.

Sounds like you’ve covered many - if not all - of the bases. He will return to the tundra knowing he is loved, and memories of his trip home will warm his heart. He will need a coat to keep the rest of him warm.

You forgot to make jackalope food to send with him! :thumbsup

That super sucks!!!

I haven't used those... I have used the de-icers from farm innovators.

These:

These do not run hot, and are safe to run dry, and safe to sit on rubber/plastic.

They have an integrated thermal cube

I have one of those inside the water tank at our camp house. Do you mean you sit a regular waterer on top of it? Never thought of that.

Nope

It has to be in the water... because it is NOT hot. I think it only heats up to 40F??? Something like that... so just warm enough to keep the water liquid.. but not warm enough to heat the water which means LESS money to run them.

They come in different sizes/strengths depending on how much water you want to keep thawed... from birdbath size to huge water trough.

I stick it inside my water pan... a black rubber water pan.... chicken size... is that a gallon? Two gallons???
