Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

You've made a friend!
We were friends before, but now I think I’ve inadvertently adopted a neighbors dog. It wouldn’t be the first time. Years ago my other neighbor had a beagle that lived here 3/4 of every day. He would be the life of the party whenever we had guests. He’s been gone forever, but peeps from all over the country still talk about that dog.

Oh my orr would really like if you can post any sounds
I'll see if he can send me a video. I should have taken one while he was here! Both boys, since moving out, have really gone a bit guitar crazy. S.Korea son now owns a mandolin, 5-string bass, and a guitar. S.Dakota boy is all about the pedals and the amp sounds for his guitar. I guess there are worse addictions... But seriously dude, pay off your student loans first!!

On my lily pad snow shovel in hand. Good morning, Pond.

When we first moved here there was a beagle who would come to the house a couple of times a week. She'd scratch at the door, eat a bit and spend the night. One day she just stopped visiting.

Our neighbors dog used to be at our house all the time. He's a big chocolate lab. He was always at our front step, trying to get DS to play fetch with him or chasing my flock. He hasn't been around as much, especially since we got Smores. We've still seen Charlie around here and there, just passing by. He's always loose and goes where he pleases.

Happy belated anniversary @Ladies-Eight Amazing and inspirational!! :love

All the kid/grandkid talk is fascinating. I only gave birth to one child (which was all I wanted), but then inherited 4 more by re-marrying! I admit to my friends here, it was not my favorite inheritance at the time. But now, 18 years later, I wouldn’t trade a single one of them. 5 grandbabies in the last 7 years has been a blessing too. My hubby could live like the Waltons with us all on the same property, all together every day. I prefer the time spent with them now, then return them to the parents when I’ve had enough. :p
