Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

And I found some of DS#2s cold meds he left here from last time he was in S Korea. Can't read the label, but they're working really well! (Pretty sure there's caffeine involved - I'm very awake!)

I've been dealing w upper respiratory stuff since Sept. I'm fairly 'done" w this sick thing. Seriously ready to be healthy for a change!
If I could wave a magic wand…..

Ponders good morning one and all!

The temperature is 60 and sunny.

Have a great day!
Always count on @Ladies-Eight for a weather update that makes me envious. :D

Afternoon, we’re up to 27 whole degrees!! At least the sun is shining. We got another light dusting last night after things started to melt yesterday. So ice, lovely.

Part of the netting fell over my duck pen yesterday from the weight of the snow. I had a small tarp covering a section that was prone to getting very slick, but the tarp held the snow and then it just got too heavy and collapsed. Luckily hubby was able to help me fix it before dark yesterday.

Nah... he is still there.... he first went over... 2 years ago.?? 3?? So, the meds can't be too old.
When my husband was on hospice, I had some old pain pills I showed the hospice nurse. Asked if I could give them to him. They were several years old from an old surgery I had. She told me that pills pretty much don't have an expiration date. They still have to put one on though. Capsules and liquid .. different story. They do expire.

I kept staring at the photo...

Is that a net over a net? For the roof? And the net with the small hole got busted down?

And... I don't see the tarp...

But anyway... I am glad the fence supports weren't busted.

Yea not so good perspective from that camera.
I used the green stuff as roof netting because it’s stronger than other netting and it holds leaves better.

In this pic, the yellow lines outline an opening between the chicken pens, where I store my feed, etc. and it goes to the back door of my building. The red outline is where I had the tarp on top of the netting. I added it because that opening stays slick when it gets wet, I was trying to keep it dryer. Maybe I didn’t post here the gif of me busting my butt? Spilled a whole scoop of feed in the mud. So a good intention that didn’t work so well. :D
I guess I’ll build a little awning over that opening eventually.
