Well, I didn’t get the kayak out today, but I did indulge in several hours worth of dirt therapy in the garden. Somehow, I ended up with 60+ tomato plants! For some crazy reason, I planted them all. Why not? If they all grow, I’ll have plenty to share. And can. And freeze.

Haha... I have the tendency to wonder how so many tomato plants end up in my garden too!

They look so sweet and innocent in those little plastic containers. And they don’t take up any space at all, so it’s hard to keep track when they’re sitting there waiting to be planted….

I keep trying to start seeds, but they never do well for me. So I always end up buying plants. This year after we bought some plants, a few of my seeds took off! So now I have more than my beds will hold. I guess I’ll stick them in the yard somewhere. I can’t just toss them!.

I’ve only had females. How loud is a quail crow?

88 bobwhite (few cracked, to be expected) and 30 coturnix. Here's hoping for a good bobwhite hatch
