Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good morning pond. Wet on my lily pad. It's my last day off before a 10 day stretch of work. I'm hoping to enjoy it a little bit :)
Enjoy your day. It has started raining here. We were planning on going to a Polish festival in Pa. Googled their weather, and rain is predicted for all day. Time to come up with a 'Plan B'.

Good Morning, Pond!

It’s a beautiful day on my lily pad. Sunny and about 70.

Forty years ago today, DH and I set out on our adventure of a lifetime. It’s been quite a ride, but I wouldn’t change a thing. We were going to celebrate this weekend by having the family home, but middle son ended up having his gallbladder removed on Wednesday, so family weekend has been postponed until October 1.

Turns out Broody Betty is the sole member of the Broody Club. The other hen was apparently just laying her egg and wasn’t impressed with me bothering her (although she did tuck the eggs under her when I put them in the nest with her). She was off the nest and pacing most of the day, so I let her out of the maternity ward.

Have a great day, everyone! Hug your people, and appreciate your time with them.

Happy Anniversary! I hope DS recovers quickly & feels better soon! Any small plans for just the two of you today?

I think this sums things up for me pretty accurately.
