Nope, he's coming South. Right now he's midway between Mass. and the Pond.

DH and I ran away from home today - just the two of us - for a much needed day to ourselves. We’re at one of our favorite threshing shows. It’s nice to be able to just wander aimlessly about and not worry where our little people are. (Not that we mind taking them places, but sometimes it’s nice not to.)

DH and I ran away from home today - just the two of us - for a much needed day to ourselves. We’re at one of our favorite threshing shows. It’s nice to be able to just wander aimlessly about and not worry where our little people are. (Not that we mind taking them places, but sometimes it’s nice not to.)

The Princess and I did the same thing yesterday afternoon.

I candled Betty’s eggs again tonight. Three were definitely clear, two obviously developing, and one is too dark-shelled to see anything, but I *think* it’s developing. So I disposed of the clears and kept the other three. No broken eggs like I’ve had when trying to hatch eggs from my neighbor.

Good luck on that hatch no broken is real good thing ... I thought to hatch last month but was vetoed on it.
In the spring I want to possibly hatch a Marans cockerel.
