Do you have power? My friend in Soldotna has been out since before 5:00 am (when her DH got up to plow snow.)

We have power, not even a flicker.

We also have cold... and snow.

And wow... that is a LONG time to be without power!

I wonder what happened? Maybe a vehicle crashed into something very important.

Sounded like it was pretty widespread. A wind storm combined with wet, heavy snow. She said Nikiski had been out since the day before, and the road to Anchorage was closed.

I couldn’t remember if it was Nikiski or Kenai. I haven’t heard any more from my friend. Hoping power has been restored. I read that snow totals were anywhere from 7-22”, but don’t know how much she ended up with.

Sorry for all troubles many seem to have Pond.
I fell last night a piece of hose covered by leaves.
Right knee not happy now.
I have 5 percent lidocain from Amazon @Alaskan nothing else added is my go to.

I asked kid... his work didn't lose power... and he was there by 6am... he is working 12 hour days... so by the time he got back to his place, his place had power.

He only knew power had been lost because his alarm clock had to be reset.

My friend got power back on Friday. Glad your kid wasn’t out for long. Did he say how much snow they got? Haven’t gotten a total from Soldotna.
