Found a dead rooster today. Not sure why he died.

Crap Sorry what happened I lost my older birds.
Time was over that time I have like 16 birds right now laying.
8 that will start before winter 4 maybe by next spring.

Ducklings are insanely cute. We got 5 black muscovy from McMurray this morning along with goslings.

Also, #2 son, bride- to- be, and son #5 are now playing with the goslings on the grass in the sun.

HUGE MONSTER babies! Mouthy too, as bad as puppies.

Getting my last chick order tomorrow morning. ( this one from McMurray)

Then next week I get my last gosling order (I got 4 male godlings from McMurray this morning, next week I get 8 females from Metzer).

And... I have muscovy eggs in the 'bator, just started though... and they need to cook for forever.


Those Partridge Chanteclers I got last week (from Hoover hatchery) are looking great. We lost a few over the first few days. We had trouble getting them to eat properly. But the 11 still with us are harty. We just moved them out into the coop part of my chicken tractor.
