Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Sigh… I’m ready to go to bed. The dog decides he needs to go out NOW, so I let him out. Open the door (to our attached garage) a few minutes later to see if he’s ready to come in for the night and am assaulted by the very fresh odor of skunk! Dog is nowhere to be found. Guess who’s sleeping outside tonight!
Noooooo!!!!

Not good night time fun!!!

Good news! Whatever happened with the skunk did not happen in the garage. (We had a skunk spray in the garage once, right under the stairway that leads into the house.) Also, Ruger did not receive a direct shot. He’s got a faint skunk smell on him, but not knock-you-off-your-feet smell. He!’ll be taken to the lake today to play fetch for a while, and then he’ll smell better.

Ponders good evening one and all!

Tea is ready.

Temperature is in the 70s with predicted rain showers this evening.

I had to deal with a storm while driving back from Jacksonville at 35 to 45 mph on a road that is 60 mph because I could not not see the white lines on the road.

Have a great day!
Glad you made it home safely!

Was something covering the road?
