With my area, the problem is the humidity. So mud and snow balls up on their feet feathers.

I think if you are in a drier location, or have a covered run, it shouldn't be a problem.

We have dried the grass up so back in tennis shoes.
My lily pad is dry again.

The church

Bride and groom coming to the church

Standing on the church deck to do the betrothal part of the service where the rings are exchanged.

Inside the church after they have been crowned!
