Well... I didn't give warning...

But I had major abdominal surgery yesterday morning.

It went well.

But doc gave me way more restrictions than I thought I was getting.

For 6 weeks

No standing for more than 30 minutes.

Avoid walking on uneven ground (so... almost everywhere)

And yes, I get a walker for 6 weeks

I'm saying this because I saw that you coughed. You should be fine. I had major abdominal surgery years ago and wasn't supposed to cough. I woke up gagging and coughing. Had a tube down my throat that was causing it. They hurried and took it out. Didn't do too much to my stitched area and I was coughing hard.
Take care. Let the family spoil you. I'm sure they are. I hope you're not in a lot of pain. That's probably being taken care of.

Try hugging a pillow when you cough as it will help to lesson the pain.
