Good morning pond! I haven't been in for a while. Life has been very busy. I'm hoping to be able to stop in more often now as things start to slow down for the season. But they won't be slow today! Today is the park's Apple Cider festival. Every year, we do this one day event only from 9-5. We spent all week preparing, getting everything mowed, canopies set up, hay rides, signs, cider press and apples. The vendors were all showing up yesterday setting up all their stuff. It's pretty amazing. Last year, we had around 17 thousand people show up! Even with bus and boat shuttles, it took DH and DD over an hour just to get out of their parking spot last year lol. We'll see how it goes this year :) I'll try to get some pictures! Other things have been going on this summer too. DS is now working full time and bought his first car. He's saving up for winter tires now. He's confident he can make it up and down the mountain all winter if he has them. I hope he's right but if not, my parents live down there and he can stay down there if he had to.

This summer or church celebrated its 100 year anniversary. We were all on the planning team for the event all summer. I was in charge of making tumblers and ornaments to hand out which took weeks to make but everyone loved them! We did a Past, present, future theme with speakers and music from each time period. On that Saturday, we did an old fashioned hymn sing, the worship team performed (All for of us are a part of the worship team in one way or another) and we had a Christian band come in and play. Of course there were yard games, a petting zoo and a huge bounce house set up for that day too and lots of food! Sunday we did our morning service and it was amazing to see so many people there with it not being Christmas. People came "home" from hours away to be a part of it. I've of the ladies made a homemade turkey dinner for after the service. We pulled the corner stone from the church and opened the time capsule that was in it. It was an amazing weekend!
