Did the shell feel 'waxy'? Did you candle it? Duck eggs are more translucent than chicken eggs... yes, they can have a bluish or greenish tint... anything else yiu have that might lay that color?

Sort of... No, didn't think of that.

I have EE but none lay that shade... I do have a 1/2 EE that is 6 mo and hasn't laid yet as far as I know, so she's also a suspect?

Looks like a duck egg to me!  Could you at least tell if it was fertile?  e

(I'm still waiting on my young girls.  Maybe this year, maybe not till next spring)  :/
