I did figure out today how the squirrel keeps getting into the cochins pens. Part of my roof slopes east/west, with an overhang which covers the top of other section that slopes north/south. The tin roof was a couple inches short for the north/south side, so we left a small gap on the high side, because the other roof covered it, and it was too small for a bird to fly thru, but apparently its big enough for a squirrel to fit through. :/

I could have squirrel for dinner every night, got tons of them. But they don't seem to bother the chickens and I'd rather have them around for the flying predators to go after, than my chicks, so I let them be now. I just don't appreciate them getting into the pens and eating all the feed! Lol
