Don't have a garage or barn to stick them in?

I've got a garage and I've got a barn but never seem to have any luck keeping them warm enough in those areas. The only be in the house until about 3 weeks old then I kick him out on the side porch where I can keep it above freezing and the chicks alive

Might be less stressful but getting 'em shipped from the all the way from down there could lead to a few non-viables

Wouldn't be any different than getting eggs shipped around here. Sometimes they do great and sometimes they fall flat on there face.
