Dan the question is... When am I not setting eggs

I just put in 38 of my own serama eggs from my breeder pens and I have a dozen more serama coming from Chicago and 13 sebbie/sebbie mixes from Ohio in the next day or 2. Had to buy a 4th bator...

Bill has not noticed or has not said anything. its all under his account!

I wish I could just convince him to let me get a cabinet one-it would be so much cheaper but the size alone would tell him how many eggs I hatch-right now I dont think he has an idea...

and I have a pair of girls who have been broody together sitting on 6 or 8 more. seems like 1 is hatching every other day or so under them and I just take the chick and bring it into the house brooder. I will say my house smells like chickens a bit but until he has the time to get my breeder pens done in the garage and they heater is installed, I cant chance the itty bitties out there.

I have 17 that have hatched in the past week under the brooder plate and so far all are doing well. I need to start going through my grow outs and separating them into pet and breeder. Could also clean cages while I am at it....

Left the house at 8, they took him in at 10:15, after all the pre-op stuff. Not bad!

Think they might already be on their way... She said he had to be there by 8:30 and surgery starting by 10-10:30...

Took a few pics yesterday. Bossier Valdosta Mama and babies (5 weeks) I know the gray one is a boy and unfortunately looks like the pale one behind him will be too. I really like the personality on it, wish it were a girl.

Many years ago my hubby and I came to an agreement. He said he could either spend money on cars or on women so we have a lot of cars! LOL!
