Normally I do too but when I am treating something nasty like a respiratory issue in my seramas, i want to make sure those little suckers are getting the full dose. Sometimes when birds are sick, they dont like to eat or drink and mine are little and easy to handle and pill so its not bad. If I wanted to treat the entire flock, i would probably put the worst ones in isolation and pill them and treat the rest with the water soluble ones. This is another antibiotic I keep on hand thats great for cocci & URI & is put in the water. Sulfadimethoxine 12.5% Oral SolutionWill do. I like liquid better too.
Gonna have to try that site-but I think I'm stocked for now... Fingers crossed that I wont need any!!!Cheapest I found for Oxine, including shipping charges, was on Amazon... Baytril, I get the Enrofloxacin 10%... best price I found for that was on the mexi-cali site... but it takes longer to get...
Have you gotten it through the mexi-cali site before, Kathy?
Btw, I'm not convinced it's an actual respiratory issue you are dealing with, PF... if there's no runny noses, discharge, then that might not be actual sneezes... what I thought sounded like sneezes in mine were actually coughs... any excessive gaping, neck stretching, crop adjusting going on??
What Call duck decides the Winter Solstice is the best time to start laying???

Just because she's laying, doesn't mean they need to be incubated!Dan, you need to come pick up some ducklings, lol...
I am not sure what it is either. Not sure if you read all my previous info on what I have already done. No gaping, neck stretching or crop adjusting. I though about gape worm but no gapeing. Just the funny squeak from some. I now have 3 who are not being social, kinda puffed up and certainly flemmy sounding. One of them has been doing the squeaking but the other two have not.Cheapest I found for Oxine, including shipping charges, was on Amazon...
