Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

You should see my closets, lol. Many drugs I haven't used, and probably never will, but I am prepared! I even have some of this: -Kathy
never heard of this one. Some of the stuff I ordered strictly to have on hand regardless because I've needed it in the past but not had any or been able to get it quickly

Quote: "Marbofloxacin is a carboxylic acid derivative third generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is used in veterinary medicine under the trade names Marbocyl,Forcyl and Zeniquin."

Activity[edit]

Marbofloxacin is a synthetic, broad spectrum bactericidal agent. The bactericidal activity of marbofloxacin is concentration dependent, with susceptible bacteria cell death occurring within 20–30 minutes of exposure. Like other fluoroquinolones, marbofloxacin has demonstrated a significant post-antibiotic effect for both gram–and + bacteria and is active in both stationary and growth phases of bacterial replication.[3]
It has good activity against many gram-negative bacilli and cocci, is effective against:

I'm like you, I'd rather have it ahead of time.

How is the wrist doing? If you ever want to give a bird fluids, it's pretty easy:

I'm going to look at it when I heal up a little. @WVduckchick I'm loaded up! Kathy I don't know why I can do this all blindfolded to a human but it freaks me out to do to a bird!

I think it might be:

Third generation

Levofloxacin (Levaquin)

Same as for second-generation agents plus expanded gram-positive coverage (penicillin-sensitive and penicillin-resistant S. pneumoniae) and expanded activity against atypical pathogens

Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia

Sparfloxacin (Zagam)

Gatifloxacin (Tequin)

Moxifloxacin (Avelox)
