Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Half right works, eh? ;)
Pick one you're not attached to... I don't think you'll want it back when I'm finished with it! :gig

Maybe, but you started it well, with a little help from WV - our resident pardon of virtue :lau

I just beat you to it, that's all.

Ahem... methinks it's getting as deep in the Pond as it is in my duck pen... :gig

Fine. I'm trudging out to bed. Was hoping the final cochin would hatch, but I'll check it in a few hours. Now, without all those eggs and chicks in there, the stupid styro dropped temp and humidity a little. It was surprisingly steady until now though.

Cute, Dan... btw, tell your sister I looked back at your duckling pics... no pieds, sorry...

Highly possible.

Right then, come on you guys. I'm doing a crossword and a clue is a stately home near New York - I'm snookered on that one - any ideas?

How many spaces? Any squares filled?

Chicks hatching and their body temps kept it more stable... one of the reasons I never lower the temp for hatching like many recommend... :fl it pops out soon!!

G'Night, WV... I'll :duc now so the Pond doesn't prematurely close... :D

You'd better not put a sock in it - the pond needs a bit of toilet humour IMO.

Clue is an anagram of "as the cold war" (6,6). I got -----e -o-a-d
