traded them for some of my eggs, my sex link pens, and the project pen......... super nice folks, and enjoyed visiting with them about their birds, and mine. dang, but when I got the eggs, and looked at them, they had all been stored pointy end up........

Not a bird, but here's my new addition today:

He's so tiny, I haven't had a reptile this small since my bearded dragon was a baby. He's eating really well though so he won't stay small for long!

No they were straight run I think I have 2 SDW females, and 1 male, 3 bb reds and 1 male.

Phil, I finally got pictures of my tomatoes, they are about 12 to 15 inches tall.

Once upon a time, I had the largest garden around, all those pepper plants....all that canning....before birds! And before I list two burners on my stove! Grr..

So far, so good on twins...due Thursday.

I just had a call duckling die in my hands. Stopped at home after work, they all seemed fine. It was warm, so I turned off the heat lamp for a couple hours while I went to Rural King. Came home, took care of chores, all the ducklings were playing around, etc. I turned the heater back on. Peeked in a bit later and noticed this one laying alone. Reached in to get her and she didn't run like the rest. Brought her inside and held her for a couple hours, and she died. I assume she got cold, or possibly ate some shavings, or something odd like that. I couldn't get her to drink or anything, she just wanted to snuggle in my neck. I just checked the rest and they aren't even under the lamp, and are moving about, so I don't think they are cold at all.

I'm sorry WV. . It is hard with the babies! Oh my, I have shavings down for my little OEGBs and I've noticed they've ate a few.... should I be changing it out in the double??

Thanks. Kathy said dehydration with the white stuff, so I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to them individually. She was the pretty solid black one, with the perfect little round head.

And my weekend carried over through today So while DD and me were going to the art gallery . I made her drive because she hasn't driven on the interstate much . when we got to the middle of Nashville the traffic slowed to the normal congested mess . I was telling her to leave room between her and the next car because the traffic could stop in a instant . The words just got out of my mouth and the traffic stop and the car in front of us rear ended the car in front of it . She almost hit them it was close . While she was in the gallery me and Ben hung out with the car . I noticed her front tires were worn on the inside really bad . Them little wire hairs were sticking out . So all day yesterday I put new lower ball joints in her car . And brake pads and today four new tires and different wheels .Wednesday she is off to Birmingham for a metal working conference . Her first long trip alone . Late Saturday afternoon DW and I went to see Oliver and I went to Conner's ball practice . I even helped with batting practice .Little kids are so much fun . I get to hold Oliver a minute here and there then somebody takes him away :/ . He's skin was yellow and getting more so by the minute . We left at 10:30 I had a very worried grandmother on my hands and a very worried son . They called the doctors emergency number and the nurse sent them to the ER . They didn't have a bed for him so loaded him in a ambulance and sent him to Vanderbilt in Nashville . They kept him under some kind of lights for treating jaundice for just over 24 hours got his numbers down and sent him home . I really thought DW was going to blow up and she isn't real happy with DIL at the moment . And guess who gets to hear it . They took him to the his doctor today and the number are good and he is nursing a bottle and mom . And my boy is doing fine today . One thing for sure my life ain't dull .

I'm so glad the little one's better, he must be young..? You wouldn't know what to do with yourself if you were stationary for very long! Think of it this way, it keeps you young K

Don't worry about the shavings, eating a little isn't a big deal... and it's actually rare for them to eat enough to harm them... only worry if they make it a buffet...

LG is tame, but you don't mess with what's hers! She doesn't bite hard, mostly... but she pinches good... she grabs and does this, "I'm supposed to be eating you up, will you just knock it off and keep your hands off my eggs/'lings!"... my other half won't even get close to her when she's broody though!

Those 2 'lings are from WV's ducks... so friggin' cute, I can't stand it, lol...

I know, I have to agree, everybody was trying to save ,( oh..!!! ...and it was my one and ONLY Snuggle Bug!) his eye!! After all that and you "inquired" about his eyelid.....I was stunned! But still wasn't sure til I got up close and made him blink the next day!
