Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

That girl must be crazy to pass up a chance to gobble
my sentiments exactly

Good morning pond peeps, I have a question, 1 of my ducks has finally decided to go broody, the problem is she has picked one of the WORST spots to lay in her nest, they will never survive and once again she will be sadly disappointed when something eats her eggs so after she bit the t total crap out of me I moved her and her eggs into the grow out pin in hopes she would go back to them and sit. So far all she is doing is walking around quacking :(
I put her on her eggs but now idk if she will go back to them?? Did I do the right thing or will she reject them now??

some will go back to the nest, some will be considered 'broken' of the broody bug

there is a better chance that she will go back to it if you also use the original nesting materials
