I really don't know the regulars there bought me out . The little Asian girl said they had got from me before and I had good chickens I'll ask them next Sunday My nephew and his wife are expecting and the gathering is next Saturday . What some folks call a baby shower I call a gathering all them women go and gather up stuff for the new baby . And they are really serious about it Big party at his parents house in Leipers fork . I'll be there all day . And so will this one .34 days old already

AWWWW I love babies! Any time there's a baby at a gathering I snag the little one and everyone has to fight to get to hold the poor dear. This is my newest addition! My great niece Claire, she is such a good little bundle of sweetness!

Careful, you might find me taking you up on that! First I've got to build a coop though, because my temporary brooder is running out of temporary.

I am attempting a new coop myself. The dogs stay at my house and I was using the coop behind my mother's house and something killed them all but my little Ruby. The poor girl was frozen in shock for a good 2 hours and for weeks I couldn't leave her sight or she flipped out. Has anyone ever had to set up a perch in their bedroom? She actually had to sleep with me (in my bed) for a few nights, she wasn't having a thing to do with the perch. I have earned the title crazy chicken lady!!!

Understand that one... and offer is open anytime you might find yourself in our neck of the woods... but get that coop done, asap... before you know it, temporary turns into permanent, lol...

Dang I wish you were closer, i love working outside and love duckies even more!!! I have a feeling we would end up in jail if you lived closer. Hmmmm

Good morning pond peeps, it's been a busy few days and I'm feeling comical this morning so here's the past few days..My life through pictures

Thursday afternoon Jb went to the vet with a dislocated leg, infected foot and lice, fixed leg, got a shot for lice and antibiotics..she's on the mend

Friday morning off to the vet again with Huey, bumble foot was completely gone thanks to Ravyn, got treatment for lice and sent home

Friday afternoon was spent visiting with my Peepaw, my hero and my best friend, he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer, we were told he would live for 6 weeks and here we are 6 months later. No treatment, just will power and prayer.

Saturday I enjoyed sometime in the sun and then spent time with Hope aka Bo

And Sunday​ I played with the new babies and took some amazing pictures of them

After that TWRA came out to check the traps and we had 3 really big and extremely ticked off snapping turtles who got relocated to the river

And ended the day with some fishing with my husband, I caught a MASSIVE FISH, almost broke my arm reeling him in

We tipped the scales
Only I can manage to hook a minnow
It did get better because after that I managed to catch this guy

Did you have a nice birthday dinner?

I did! Mom-in-law makes whatever the birthday person wants for their dinner from all the yummy things she makes. I chose Chop Suey, which was her dad's recipe. It's the only time we get to enjoy it!
