As a mechanic my hands took alot of abuse... I had both my wrist operated on and most of my fingers .... My shoulders are what finally took me out. Hard to be a mechanic when you can't hold your arms over your head anymore. Can't feel two of my fingers at all. Bulging disc... Pinched nerves..... Glad my kids don't know a wrench from a screwdriver and have no desire to be a mechanics.... Although I don't know who to leave my tools too....
