Hi pond peeps, I don't know if any of y'all have missed me but I have sure missed you all. Been really depressed these past few days and decided today to uninvite myself to the pity party I have been having. Just was really ready to be done with everything and had a small set back. I'm slowly getting back to me. I hope everyone is well!!
I lost my little silver baby to a predator last night, somehow it managed to put it's paw into the grow out pin and grab her. I am still unsure what exactly got her. Probably a raccoon.. idk
Also had a new hatchlings this morning so that was good news

Just a quick post and then I'm going to go back and catch up, but does anyone know of any places I could find free or cheap fencing? More messing around with my birds has convinced me to fence out a huge area, move all the coops into it, and lock all the gates. Which is going to be expensive unless I can find some cheap fence.

You might check with your local Humane Society and other dog rescue groups. Someone at work told me they often replace their outdoor runs and will give away the old chain link fencing.
