I'm afraid of spiders, but I don't kill them. I'll catch them and put them back outside if one gets in the house. They have an important role to play. Keep the bugs down. If I found a brown recluse or something venomous I'd probably kill it for safety, but that's it.

I actually like snakes. All the ones here are harmless. I'd probably kill a venomous one if I found one just because it could be a threat to me and my birds, but the rest I will always leave alone. They provide a good service, keep the rodent population down.

My old house had spiders up the wazzo.
Although only in the shower..... they are dang cellar spiders I assume thru come in from the crawlspace...... but no I don't catch them.
I smash them......then i silently ask for forgiveness. But eeeeek.

You just need to learn to drive with your head hitting the roof your knees in your chest and your back hurting .Then all will be well. You'll be in constant pain . But not in trouble.
