Thought I'd post a pic of our humble cluttered abode. My 13 yr old daughter took the pic with a fisheye lens that attaches to my cell phone so as a whole it's hard to make out details but if you zoom in you can see stuff a bit. If it doesn't blur. So i took a bunch of my equipment.... two scan tools.....oscopes.... ignition scopes.... and gave them to my friend.
It was a sad day... thousands off dollars invested.
Butt I didn't need all that stuff anymore.
And I still have 3 scan tools here and scopes.
Plus various other pieces of diagnostic equipment.
The shop called me in yesterday cuz they don't have the tools or personnel to do heavy diagnostics.
My hoped Is that Mikey will learn.
I gave them 2 years notice but up here it's hard to find well trained highly educated techs. Especially ones you paid for all their training out of Pocket and bought their own equipment.....i feel responsible for the shop even though I don't work there anymore.

Here's the car I worked on today.... it's pretty antiquated as far as computers go.... these guys thought I could just hook up my tools and it would spit out a answer.....NOT!!!!
CRIPES wake me up at 7 just so I could come in and tell them it needs plug wires.......the tree b that was working on it was afraid to commit to wires..... cuz they cost $500.... Ooh well.... if I was wrong whay ate they gonna do fire me......

Ooh yeah i know I was patting myself on the back a little..... but so what.
I just gave my good friend a small fortune in tools.
But now I expect him to help me get this body work on my firebird done.....

Thanks...We do too. Don't get me wrong...It has it moments,but for the most part it's been a great adventure so far. Check back in the middle of winter and you'll here a whole different story...lol
