Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Such pretty chickens! :)

Thanks. They are lavender Orpingtons. Well, the black one is black split for lavender. :D

Today I launched the flea attack, mowed 2 hours worth of lawn, cleaned the beagle club clubhouse in preparation for a field trial, walked the pugs 5 times (so far), and took the Princess out to Applebees for supper. Tomorrow, barring another disaster, we will go to the Jersey shore.

Stop, you're making me more tired. :plbb

I worked 7-1/2 hours today (ok, was "at" work), went to pick up 2 seramas, drove an hour to the farm, took care of critters there, drove home (seramas rode along lol). Set up the larger brooder for the seramas for the night. Got them settled. Fed and watered all the birds at home, collected eggs, put the big ducks in their pen so the call ducks could come out. Now I'm having a cup of coffee and kicked back for some BYC catchup and a little tv. :D

Yep, I think I do like the gray with the green. Now to cut and paint the rest of the trim and get it attached.

That's awesome!

so they have a beautiful home, now how are they doing??

Good! My doe is lurking in the back of that picture I posted today enjoying her new foot rest, I just noticed. Her earliest possible due date is in about ten days, so the male is getting the boot into a different hutch this weekend. I have the nesting box all ready to go in for her and she seems to have settled into the new hutch and is happy with it.
