It is in a place where we cleared all the trees and brush and leaves down to bare dirt. Surrounded the pit with big logs. And one side is the gravel driveway. We watch it pretty closely. Like the woods the way they are.

Actually, the temperature just dropped ten degrees when the front went through, down to 82! We never got the rain though.
