Slow growing for Cornish in them.  My EEs grew just as fast or faster, which really surprised me.  No one has started laying yet, it's a little early.  My favorite in color are blue laced with chestnut on the saddles, but as far as conformation my favorite is a black with a little silver on the saddle.  Overall good backyard birds, but like those from my own flock nothing screams "build a breeding program".  The girls are mild mannered and are starting to check out the nest boxes.

We've got one egg on lockdown that has a vertical air sac. The air sac runs the length of the egg. We didn't pic up on it at first candle and just marked it with "?" because we thought it had DIS. What's the chances of it surviving?

I think Ruby had one to hatch that way. I'm sure anything is possible with them. I would guess at least a 50/50 shot.
