Well, unless you cover the top or secure them at night the predators will get them.

I have a nice, sturdy coop built that I am going to lock them in at night.

Yeah. I am wanting to clear a spot that is at least about half an acre this next year for a garden. I had thought about planting peas, but I was unsure of what variety to choose. I am thinking about doing some next year. Which kind did you use? I have collected two tomatoes so far, and I have about ten more on the vine.

I don't remember what kind i planted, and i used them up and tossed the package. Sugar snaps maybe? I am not good at recording stuff like i should about the garden.

Do you have aerial predators? We have hawks and eagles here. Hoping the tree cover here will deter them.

Oh ok I am wanting to do a bush variety. I am not really fond of the ones that need something to climb on. I am wanting more self supporting plants.

I have a pair of Hawks that live close by. I haven't had any issues with them yet though.

Didn't get one put in this year, just had too many things come up. Hoping we get one in next year.
