I'm officially pathetic... Shade is gone, good neighbors are gone and I'm sitting here with a duck in my lap, duck in the tub and a chicken in my sink...

She looks like she's got a lot of you in her! Playing in the water already. She'll be hatching ducks in no time!

Wish I could spend more time with her. She's my step-sons daughter, and his ex is a real.._____ (lots of words fill in that blank, none are nice) so its been tough for even him to get enough time with her. But karma has a way of working things out. Eventually.

I got a scalpel and everything I needed set it all up and it went great not much blood til I cut into good tissue on the top part of her foot! I grabbed my needle and thread drenched it
in 91proof rubbing alcohol and John Wayned it! You'll would of been proud! That she didn't bleed to death lol!

Awesome! So proud of you. Good luck with her.

Good morning sleepy heads! Hawk's alive and looking bright eyed and bushy tailed. I can't believe the amount of blood she lost. Seriously, it looked like a battle field. She's gonna rejoin the flock this morning. She has another one on the other foot not nearly as bad it's gonna wait though.
What's everyone doing today? I have to clean my house and maybe my chicken coop too. And call my mother sometime today. Lol

It was actually very easy. Til I cut deep into healthy tissue! I'll have to treat her foot for a couple of weeks.
Aww, I wish u could your mom too girl, and I my dad. My coffee maker is SLOW this morning..
