So mowing has started feeling like a chore? That's no good.

It's just the scheduling. My life is a logistic nightmare. The will is strong, but the mind/body are weak.

I haven't gotten out fishing in two years either, I have been craving crappies and sunnies, but no one is bringing me any...It appears I may have to go catch my own.

Weird thing is that I have always enjoyed mowing lawn. Way back when, one of my first jobs was mowing a cemetery lawn with a friend. It took a full day, and we got paid $50 for the job - $25 each. Big money for kids who rode the roads looking for soda bottles in order to claim the five cent return fee. My brain ? tends to torment me, and mowing lawn or fishing are two times when I can shift it into neutral. First time I typed 'shift' I left out the 'f'. Think that was significant ?

I always had a job growing up.... Had to pay room and board too.... Started with my first paper route......I was in 7th grade..... Got busted for pot.... So I got a paper route. The Detroit News.
I grew it till the divided it into 3 routes.
Then I moved to bus boy/ dish washer until my senior year..... Then it was flipping burgers for McDonald's.....

Oh, I've been fishing, even caught a few Crappie, but I generally release them.

Of course it helped that I didn't actually go to Tractor Supply They just told me that there were chicks there. Next time I go I'll have to keep my willpower up!

I'm actually surprised that its hard for you to pass them up. I love looking at them, but usually just feel sorry for them. No desire at all to buy them (well maybe to rescue). I'd rather hatch my own or someone else's better stock.

Awesome! I thought you said they were bottle babies, and often that means the kids are someplace away from mom. I hope she has gotten over the mastitis. That can get scary fast.

So...one of my goats cut herself on something. Nice maybe 2 inch long skin split open. rinsed it out and glued it closed. .. ... forgot to bug dope it....just told the kid that is milking in a minute to cover her well.

The wounded goat is Feta Face, the one with horns, and the one currently in milk. She is a full Saanen.

The brown one is Mocha, a mostly Nubian with 1/4 Boar. Her date last fall didn't result in a pregnany.

The little white one without horns is half Saanen and half Nigerian Dwarf. She will be bred this fall, she is young, was born last year.

and i had to laugh at the last pic. first glance looked like Mocha had 2 horns coming out the left side of her head.

Would've loved sleep, but hurting too much to... painkillers aren't even making a dent this time... :/

And going to watch Walnut's hubby play hockey with K in a couple hours...

Well I got two Firebird parts catalogs in the mail this week.... But my project doesn't have much of a budget so I guess I'll order one part and a time.....I think my first purchase will be a new package tray..... And then a sound system.

Plasma cutter came in last week. But no adapter for 110 use, so he still has to go get one. And set a 220 with the proper prong configuration.
