Well a full mental evaluation is required .but it is a simple one . question #1 do your feet touch the ground when you walk . If the answer is yes . there is the possibility that your a block head . that's what keeps your feet on the ground . question #2 can you cup your hands over your ears and seem to hear the ocean sound ? If the answer is yes you have mild delusions. Your hearing things that aren't there . Question # 3 Do you or have you ever believed anything that I say . If the answer is no then you have the ability to sort fact from fantasy . You see it's a very simple test . How can you be insane if your a block head ? Don't cover your ears that keeps you from having delusions. That also denotes intelligence your smart enough not to something stupid . I figure at least 40% of what I say is fact so if you figure out which 40% that is your not insane at all . You are however completely nuts . nobody in their right mind would read all the crap I just wrote Well did you pass the test ??????

I am not an expert on all chickens, I do happen to know 4 breeds pretty well.

Legbars happens to be one of them. I have more to learn, I know.....BUT I have never seen a SOP written to say a bird needs a certain gene.

I am pretty sure when the SOP refers to color, they mean the wave length of light that is reflected must appear a "certain named color" and not a DNA test will reveal a gene is either present or not...

You can all argue with me all you want.. I really am harmless and not offended unless confront by gross stupidity..

I hear Nigerian Dwarfs are pretty close to a gallon... Three quarts not uncommon. And their milk is loaded with butterfat.

Kinder goats are a cross between Nigerians and Nubians.... smaller goat breed all year long not seasonally and higher butterfat in the milk. Though I couldnt find a quote on the amount of milk they produce

So a goat doesn't have to be bred to produce milk, like a cow?

Ofcorse she does.
All mammles have to be pregnant and give birth to kick-start the production of prolactin which is the hormone that produces milk, continuous milking will keep it going on.

If you want to up her milk production you can add fenugreek to her grain.

I started following the advice from the goose thread and started first thing yesterday morning not letting her nip. Showed everyone what to do, even the grands, and this evening she went to nip at me and I snapped "no bite" and she stepped back and didn't bite, just stood there looking at me with a sorta questioning look...Am I insane, or is she getting it?

How the flock do you people type in portrait mode??? I can barely type in landscape mode...

All judging is done purely by phenotype, that is all a judge can see...

Saw a news report today about an accident on a CA freeway... lady's car overheated, so she pulled off to the side, her and her mother got out of the car, 2 kids in backseat... called her hubby and he was on his way to help... good Samaritan pulled off behind her and was out trying to help... drunk driver smashed into both cars, killed the kids instantly, along with her mother and the good Samaritan... that's the scene the poor husband pulled up to... drunk driver lived of course...

I can never type a "P" in portrait mode. MY finger could be a tad too wide for portrait mode...

Ummm... I AM typing blind, lol! But at least I can hit the button for the letter I want... most times... the rest of the times, I edit... edit is the only time I can see what I am typing...
