Perching in trees. Every now and then I have an exchequer leghorn insists on sleeping in the tree over their run...I can't get her down. It bugs me, and I really hope the big fat raccoon living under my neighbor's house doesn't find her. So far, so good, but I don't think chickens have 9 lives...more like 1/3 of a life.

I wish... she's probably at least 20 feet up. Wing trimming may be our only hope! Another new chicken skill to learn!
