I forgot the best part of my first little cochin hatcher....its a splash! Now if only i could get lucky enough for it to be a girl!

I'm trying to build a splash cochin pen, and a couple frizzle girls would be awesome.

that reminds me of a joke . Old man sitting out side a saloon and a cowboy rides up on his horse ties up to the hitch post and walks around behind the horse and runs his fingers in the horses butt. Then runs his fingers around his lips . Well the old man can't believe what he just saw near fell off his perch. When the cowboy walked up the old man asked him fella did I just see you put your fingers in that horses butt and then wipe them on your lips . Cowboy said yes sir you did . Old man said well why did you do such a nasty thing like that ?Cowboy just said chapped lips . Well the old man asked him does it work ? Cowboy said nope but sure as hell keeps you from licking your lips .

I should be in bed now, since I have school in the morning, but I just got back from taking my 102 year old grandma to the ER for pain in her chest, left arm and between her shoulder blades. The tests all came back "negative for a cardiac event" so they asked her if she wanted to go home. (She lives in an assisted living apartment). She said she did, so I brought her home and asked staff to check on her through the night. I offered to stay with her, but she sent me home saying, "I have help here if I need it." Sigh... She's a tough cookie, but she's also 102. I worry about every little thing with her.

She definitely sounds tough.
