Since they live on sage brush a lot of times, they can be a bit more gamey, but I think most people overcook their meat way too much.



That's a great buck! My buddy just got a really awesome mule deer buck with his bow. Still in velvet! A 28" wide 4x4! I haven't ever shot a whitetail. There are none in Utah, but there are some in Idaho.

We have Mule deer here.... Tall ones I went to the house today which is on eighteen acres of desert and saw deer poo up around where the hay was... I have water and a salt lick out for my horse I am certain they share...
