Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

The few grandpas who were along for the ride were extremely passive. Apparently little old Italian grandmas are a force unto themselves.

Yes sir, we are. :p

currently at a part where WV is looking for a vote on speedos

HEy I found someone who is actually filtering her duck swimming water.... and she said I could share

@Meg Muir is only filtering for four ducks but this process is easily scaled up. Miss Lydia was impressed too.

quoting so i can go back and check that out!

Seems alot of pondies are MIA today...Hope it's cause they're out having a good day!!!!

I was at a baby shower for my GD :love

youre never going to need to midnight weed whack ever again, what will you do with all your spare time??

Sleep?

nah...

Sounds way too much like that mythical vacation thingy too... :lau

Yea, i don't understand that myth either.

And THAT'S why I don't do FB... Sounds like my family...Lol
So sorry you've had to deal with that today!:hugs

I actually had a good FB experience earlier this week. I asked for a cheap electric/battery powered leaf blower on my local yard sale page. A young guy answered, sold me one for $15, and even went out of his way to meet me. Unreal, i know!

Benadryl makes me sleepy so I don't take it. I did take 4 advil & am trying to drink water. I've read that if you drink 2 full glasses of water your headache will go away (so far that's not working) but I've also read that duck penises will fall off & regrow annually so....

Phone crapped out before i got finished.

:hugs Excedrin Migraine is the only thing that works for me. And lots of water.

:lau LOVE it!!

:lau Ahem, 2 part question, if I may.

How long you been having ducks anyway and how long you figure it took ya to become the mad genius you are now?

I grew up on a farm... we had everything from cows, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, ducks and geese... and may have forgotten some critters, lol... in college, I did double degree, Zoo Keeping (Animal Husbandry, Biology, Training, etc) and Fine Arts (pottery, specifically)... have had Calls for almost 3 years now, I think? But I spend 24/7 with them and have done/still do extensive research...

That answer your question (s)? :D

Did the shower go well? When is she due again...I can't remember.
I just don't do FB because I have enough drama and find I get sucked in and can't find a way out! :lau

Yay for baby shower!!

Nice! Always good to hear about a bargain & even better to hear about a good human.

Yes, dear. Thank ya kindly.

Funny, I've never had FB drama:confused: Maybe it's 'cause I stick to light and fluffy? Or maybe just because about half of my feed is people I know from elsewhere online. Or maybe because I just don't engage. Or I'm just lucky. Or all the above.

Now watch my MIL meet some of my h2g2 friends, including most that I visited and/or stayed with this summer:oops: (Of course, it's already been said that Tom should watch out for fat-assed women who run around with lots of men in England... Ha! The men I spent the most time with over there were either happily married, engaged, or gay (or 2 of the 3) and they all knew I'm happily married, so there! Said warning has since been totally denied, of course:rolleyes: (To be fair, that was fallen-off-wagon FIL, not MIL, but the tenor was more her than sober-him.))

November 12-15, but expecting a fairly large baby, so maybe a little earlier.

I check out a few FB chicken groups -- sale groups, or should i say "give away" groups, cause that's all anyone wants. Free ones. Lol! I don't read much of my feed, occasionally look at a few posts. I learned not to answer any chicken questions on there. Too ridiculous.
