Did you notice those beavers on my fabric were lumberjacks? I also got 5 yards of the burly beavers in blue and regular cotton (the pillowcases I made are out of the red flannel) and made myself a hiking pee rag out of it (with 4.99 yards left to back a quilt of my choosing).

So true story, I went to a trapping class a few years back to get my trapping license. The teacher took a liking to me and asked if I wanted to go back to his place and learn to make a beaver snare and learn to skin a beaver (he had a tagged one in his freezer).

I actually took him up on it.


I'm sure he had or has some good recipes but I had to ask him to stop calling me. Apparently I led him on or something like that.
