Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I sent Ravyn this pic last night but wanted to share here...My 4 yr old grandson has developed an absolute love for this guy. He brought him in last evening hugging him gently and and after informing me that his rooster loves him too, he asked " is he a ohiki woo?" lol I said I think so and he said "you have to ask Wavyn" so I did and informed him this morning that he was right. He jumped up and down all excited and looking up with a huge grin said " thanks Wavyn"....
He's absolutely filthy in the pic but he's an outside all day lil boy!!!!

simply adorbs.....

I used to look like that - always dirty. Really haven't changed all that much. :p

Nice picture that brings back memories of a kid I once was.
I think we are all "those" kids at heart.... runny nose ring around the neck Treasures hidden in pockets.... a bucket full of stuff to lay out in a line in the dirt...

I remember one Easter Sunday. Church was over, and I stayed behind on the side bank by the creek catching garter snakes. Eventually made my way home with the pockets of my new jacket filled with snakes to find my mother waiting on the porch with a fly swatter in hand. The other kids ratted me out.

Oh @shawluvsbirds I have a cat that likes to run across all the piano keys in the middle of the night which gets all the dogs barking and freaking out...Lol
It's a circus!!!:lau

I had 2 chickens send a text to a friend. Seriously, they were walking on my phone while I was texting her, and typed a bunch of gobbly-gook and then stepped on the Send button. She was like W T F ?? :lau

we used to have a PianoForte.... Upright antique dad bought for fifty bucks.... Cherry wood with Gold leaf in the carvings and candelabras... The guy was going to paint it white..... shudder.

Anyway Sounding board was cracked so it wouldnt keep a tune longer than one song... so sad.... Mom played it anyway... and when the cats walked on it it resonated through the house....
