Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

My sons Name is Dean Marcus Dixon.... Dad called him Little Frog.... At which point Dean would place his hands on his hips and holler at my dad... I am NOT a little frog I am Dean... Dad would laugh.

Consequentially Dean started calling his grandma and grandpa Grandpa Frog and Granma Frog. Dad lit up every time he called them that....
My uncle has model trains. His grandson calls him, "Papa Choo Choo".

Yep, the blood connection does feel a little different to me. We don't get to see my step-son's daughter much, the mother is a royal B. They are already divorced, just not a great situation. I know i would feel closer to my first granddaughter if we were more involved, but hopefully that will change someday, and we'll get to see her more. I will be more involved with this baby. My son is my pride and joy, so his daughter means the world to me..
Our son married a woman in WI who had 6 yr old twin daughters, who between them have given us 3 great-grandkids. Our blood grandkids have each contributed one to our collection. Amazing!:love

LOL Dads name Was Bruce Edward Dixon... His sisters called him Little Brother.... Then LB...
He then changed his name to Lucia Bryon Dixon So his Initials would be LB... Family calls him LB His worker bees all called him Lou.

Funny how names evolve... Moms name was Betty Jean.... Everyone Calls her Jeannie...
