I caught this pic the day it visited. It was there all day. Roosted close to the house that night, was gone the next morning.

Think I have my first sunburn of the season, will turn into a farmer's tan. Got the inside of the fence section done today, with a small supervisor watching:

Will finish the other side early tomorrow. Got a late start and the sun moved before I was done.

Grow wild here. They are a perrinial. If you have a dry year they get even hotter.
