I drive my husband nuts when I'm looking for the color that matches the idea I get in my head.

Sounds a bit like DW when she's shopping for clothes - has a premeditated idea of what she wants - despite the fact that it does not exist in any shop known to mankind! Most of the time these days, she gets 'em made, which saves the trauma of being dragged around the shops.

The water is still a bit murky, but that's ok, its probably about as clean as it will get.

Ah, that's what I need to do rather than settling for the closest match I can find (which usually isn't good enough) to the color in my mind's eye.
