Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I think license should be required to have kids and animals !

We could use a little of that rain Berts. Did you see the news video of the pooch who was left chained to the back porch? By the time the rescue team got to him the water was up to his neck. Lucky Dog!
So glad they got to him - it could have turned out very badly for the poor guy. Chaining is bad on so many fronts, and this is another example of how it can turn out badly for them.

So I spent the evening on Little Lake.....I hooked what may have been the biggest walleye I've ever hooked.
I was by myself so I was trying to get the net in place and I was worried cuz my drag didn't seem to be working right so I was fiddling with my real and lost the fish at the boat....my heart sunk for a minute.
All I was thinking was I was gonna get a great picture for you guys....

Oh no - I've been there, not much that can be said to take the sting out of it......but guess that just means now you *have* to go out and fish some more so you can catch him again and get a picture this time, darnit, huh?

From all I have read you don't have time to worry about you . Overwhelming worry I totally understand . A wise person thinks about what might come and how to deal with it . Some might call that worry others would call it foresight . When faced with life's overwhelming moments. Do as I do pray to god for the strength to carry on and do what must be done . Around here we have a saying cry when you need to and then take care of what needs taking care of . When a family member has a disability the things that need taking care of can sometimes be hard to deal with and impossible to fix . However we keep trying it's called hope and you dear lady are filled with love and caring and hope . Your family is very blessed indeed . Very pleased to know you .Our continued payers for your Kendra .
Well said -- quite the flash of brilliance and wisdom there!
