I got a scalpel and everything I needed set it all up and it went great not much blood til I cut into good tissue on the top part of her foot! I grabbed my needle and thread drenched it
in 91proof rubbing alcohol and John Wayned it! You'll would of been proud! That she didn't bleed to death lol!

Thanks OZ! Hopefully she'll be alive in the morning. She's acting good. Sure wish I would have had an antibiotic shot to give her though..! This week will tell.

Thanks Friday! It made for some serious action for awhile!!! Lol. When she was bleeding sterile field went south! I couldn't heave kept it and saved her! And all I could think about was I hope this isn't the spool of that rotten thread!!

Good work! It's not fun, that's for sure... I think the biggest reason Cocoa Pop went broody was to avoid her bumblefoot treatments, lol...

Man, all those treatments suck! But after almost causing her to bleed to death it's definitely gonna need some extra care. It was so bad and she was getting weaker I didn't think she could hold out much longer. I'm going back to Missouri again in a few days so time was running out!
