So I was looking at this EE pullet we go about a month ago and I was like "if she had feathered feet she could almost pass as a blue Marans" then I noticed her comb was a single, wonder if there isn't some marans somewhere in there.

BTW, I've never ordered chicks from a hatchery and unless I can't sweet talk a local broiler farmer into giving me a few chicks of his next shipment I'll have to place an order. Any recommendations?

Nah, I've never ordered from anywhere. I'd check the auction or buy/sale/trade threads first, or maybe hatch some local eggs?
