First tho I wanna thank everyone for thinkin of my flock and I thru this disaster. Its been tough and the support really means so much to me! The flood... I had 5 ft of water across my property, which had Never seen more than 6 inchs before.

Thanks, No worries tho, it's totally fightable. I have a condition that disables me for a few days each month but this is an old war and I promise ya I'll be Just Fine :) like I said good excuse to read up on y'all :D

They do! They had adequate perchs, so I'm assuming most of my victims were the birds who attempted to land in the water or fell off the perch or were chased off by their higher ups :confused: God only knows :(

I know with the quail, they don't perch, they don't have perchs, so they had no where to run from the water. My whole Cochin pen was only 4 ft tall SO 5 ft was over the top their whole coop as well as another coop where I had an old pet roo.

We just had No Idea the water would come this high. The officials even tried to set up a last second shelter in town? It had to be moved While it was Flooding... Some 30 odd School are flooded...
