Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Charm offensive, it is. On second thoughts, hardly my strong point

As long as it doesn't share ventilation with the rest of the building, I would think it wouldn't be too hard.  That would be my only issue.  Chicken dust and the like in the vents, not pleasant for the rest of the staff.

I was thinking of introducing an elongated snorkel kinda thing for the staff - I'm very considerate

My dear, sweet, beautiful wife got early with me, drove the tractor, tilled 1/3 acre, raked it, spread rye and fescue, and covered that with the 4-wheeler. Then she covered it with straw and played with chickens! All I had to do was watch! I should get sick more often.

....then she realized she was clearing more space for more chickens...:D

She needs cloning - how considerate ;)

Nah, youve got the wrong end of the stick- its jusr a store room (for now

) but a mad idea, i concede it could well be. Ill have to catch DW in one heck of a good mood for it to fly
Well, if it is a corner room, or at least an outside room, with no shared ventilation to the other part of the building, I would approve. Of course my husband does call me the crazy chicken lady!

Ravyn, so sorry about those Ams. That just sucks to high heaven. I wanna know if Oz's friends came from the same breeder. Wise words from our man K, as usual.

Phil, are you feeling better?

Oz, when you do catch her, its because she wants you to. :D

Chris, I bet that boy of yours is younger than you thought. That's the way my young one does sometimes. But he's learning.

Hey where has Walnut been? Do we need to send out the search party? :D

As Oz said, we do believe it was all the same 'breeder'... I'm checking with another for confirmation...

They did come from the same breeder I THINK.... I did finally catch her but she passed out on me...:/

Yea where is Walnut!?!?
Hi Dan !
I saw that, too! One of the bantys looks like Clementine.

Walnut has some stuff going on... she'll stop in when she can...

Wow. Once when I was a nurse, I came on shift and during report the patient asked for pain meds. I checked the chart and he had supposedly just received some morphine and had been getting it regularly every few hours. The registry nurse took off, and the patient told me he hadn't had any pain meds all night because he didn't like the side effects. Ends up that the nurse had been diverting meds. Not sure they ever were able to catch her, but the investigation was really a pain.

Gotta love people... :/

Hi everyone...
My breathing is pretty bad right now.
I woke my wife up about 3am to take me to the hospital. But all this lack of sleep made me pass out on her.
She stayed up canning tomatoes and carrots..... I woke up feeling a slight bit better breathing wise.
Because it will cost me a ton to go to the ER in trying to avoid it.
I have a doctor appointment Monday at the VA clinic if I can hold out til then it will be free.
We are getting ready to go to swap meet. My wife I can hear has the ducks all stirred up out side..... Oh my she's chasing mean duck with a stick.... :lau

You need to get rid of mean duck...

I just got back from swap meet.... Almost bought some runner ducklings.

Now I wish I did..... :/

You'll have some mini ducks by spring, no worries... ;)

Seems to work out that way. Did you sell any?

We just left ours. Sold everything except my big LO rooster, so I'm taking him back to his flock. Sold the last 2 cochin/silkie boys for a dollar for both lol, but it was that, or cull them, so I'm ok with that. It was so hot, I was about to melt.

Nice! Better to sell off cheap than keep extra mouths to feed that aren't contributing...

I am headed to a Poultry workshop at Moss Mountain Farm (P. Allen Smith) next Saturday!  I can't wait.  My Mom sent me a Birthday check that well covered the cost of the workshop and included in my birthday card was a note that said to use the extra to buy some chickens!  :weee I have Mom's permission for chicken shopping!  :cd

That does override a husband's objection to more chickens, right?

Sure does! Enjoy!

Definitely a keeper! I'm not sure you deserve her. :D
