She was a special case. All her sisters starting right around the 5-6 month range. Hopefully Mr. Mongoose makes a mistake and you catch him.
Grand plan is to breed Dominiques. Currently I have to many birds that all lay "brown" eggs that are difficult to tell apart. I need to put all the non breeding "brown" eggers in one run and put the Doms and probably all the other eggers in my other much larger run. In the larger run I can section it off to make two separate runs. Currently that should only involve moving about 6-10 birds around. I just gotta get the gumption to do it.
Caretakers are priceless.Gumption can be hard to come by - thank goodness we have a caretaker to do all the "gumping"![]()

Yes! I am sure we can come up with some good trades! My breeding and showing focus are seramas but I have quite the diverse flock. I will breed some just because I enjoy the breed but my others will free range and just enjoy life and give me eggs! I also have ducks-muscovy pekin rouen khaki campbell and indian runners. Turkey would be very welcome!!! I also have 4 guinea-I always forget about them lol.Oooohhhhhhh! Thanks to @RavynFallen I've overcome my aversion to fibro birds (formerly though of as "evil looking things") and I have one of her project quality ACs.
My flock is a production flock (egg sales for table use) and I am now sourcing random large fowl eggs to hatch to populate it. So even eggs from project birds are welcome here, I am breeding for quality but not show quality, and for the enjoyment of a mixed flock.
I have some lovely turkeys if you are interested in adding to your varieties in spring! Either way, Your AC eggs would be very welcome!
